Excellent job with all the conflicted emotions everyone is feeling! I loved Arthur being a jerk at the beginning. But why did he encourage Lancelot at the end? Was that part of his reborn feelings of camaraderie, or was he acknowledging that Gwen still cares for Lancelot and that he should know that before potentially dying in battle?

He does it out of kindness. He has faith in his relationship with Gwen that Lance is not as much of a threat. He knows what it's like to be in Lancelot's position [that's partially where the camaraderie comes from]. He doesn't know that Gwen's feelings haven't disappeared and that he could possibly be enabling Lance.

This is one snapshot of seven (which I may turn into an entire fic when I finish all the WIP I have). The others will be unrelated. This one will have a part two within the fic (either greed/charity or lust/chastity. I haven't decided).
