This chapter = SOOOO MUCH AWESOMENESS I don't know where to start. So I won't babble, and simply say that
1.) Gwen/Alvarr = LOLZ TO THE MAX
2.) Gwen's backstory = AHH::SNIFFLE::AHH::URGE TO GLOMP HER::AHHHHHH
3.) Gwen/Arthur sexual tension = MOAR PLZ. :P
4.) Mordred = MORE OF HIM IN GENERAL PLZ. :D

Take your time!! I know how annoying it is when the internet fails you! You know what I do, though? I just copy and paste it onto Word Processor or any document when the internet flickers on for a moment. Then you won't have to worry about that :)

I'm glad you liked it! I have an urge to Glomp Gwen when I'm writing because I'm so mean to her sometimes. But then I remember the first rule of writing is not to love your characters too much so I have to ignore those thoughts...

There will be more Mordred! And heaps of sexual tension! I haven't posted Chapter 8 here yet, but it's at fanfiction.net. I'll put it up in one or two days.

I loved the scene with Uther -- I, too, just thought he was being a jerk. It was kind of cute to see that it was his way of testing how good the nanny is for his grandkid. ;)

Yeah, Uther's a bit of a softy in this one... I got kind of tired writing him as a tyrant.
