Living all the way down here, places like the Dominican Republic sound SOOOOOOO exotic - and I can't imagine anyone here specifically travelling there.

Hell, I have friends in Slovenia (Ljubljana) that "go to Italy" for lunch...

Sheesh - it takes me 5 hours just to fly to the other side of this country - and there's really NOTHING in between!

As for being scrawny? Join the club...!!! I *tried* going to the gym in my 20s, but go impatient with no results, and was so self conscious of having a barrel chest and male gynecomastia that I just slunk away... Plus it doesn't help that I'm lazy as all hell.

And Tom is rather dashing... GO FOR IT! 😀

I am very lazy. I admit that. My marathon days are over and done.

Tom is dashing! We have moved into a friend zone and thats fine with both of us. He is wonderful and we get along great, but we are not looking for more than that with each other.

By American standards you live somewhere exotic. Although the continent is taking quite a pounding these days. :(
