Springtime in the forest surrounded by life all shapes all sizes living growing here amongst the trees. Everything green all plants ripe with splendid growth its springtime in a forest there are no worries here there are no reasons to worry.
Summertime in the forest where the trees are all yellow gold and the flowers all sway in the gentle breeze. Theres a feeling of no time here not because its rushed but because it doesn’t exist when you don’t believe and therefore it isn’t real. Look all around at the dry trees it is a forest it is made of trees, trees that lose their leaves it is the most beautiful thing ever.
Fall in the forest no leaves dropping but it all dries out the birds are away there is dry heat some rain and a dirt floor. Dry twigs beneath your feet you blink take a step its winter.
Winter in the forest all the trees snowy white rabbits and deer see them run all around. All plants covered in snow no flowers no vines just barren trees and snow. Its all-beautiful white and pure there is no end to the bright white blindness.
“Almost immediately, all the sound cut out. The last thing I remember hearing was the angry sound of my engine revving, and then stalling. I heard some glass, too, I think, but that was all.”
“I kinda remember looking over at the passenger seat, and wondering where she was, thinking I guess that she hadn’t come with me. I thought to myself that maybe I had left her behind for some reason.”
“Now, I guess, I understand why she wasn’t there. I mean, I was thinking all of these things, maybe in the space of just one second, and I completely missed the only logical thing.”
“Yes.”
“I don’t really remember anything else.”
“Nothing? Do you even remember what you hit?”
“No sir. I know it was a tree, but I only know because one of the paramedics told me.”
“Well, get some sleep. We’ll be back in the morning, I’m sorry, but you know this is far from over. Please try to remember anything else you can. We really do need to figure out what happened.”
“Thank you officer. Well, I’ll try, but honestly I don’t think I can remember anything else.”
