So how does eberyone feel about a wedding on Saturday, May 20th? Good? Me too! But where do I put it?! That's the problem right now...where to put it...well, have it rather. I can't think of anyplace close to home that won't really charge a lot for a few people to be there celebrating for a couple hours. Have I really forgotten NY already? Hehe. I ( Read more... )

My friend got married last year at this really nice place on Route 31 in Cicero (..Cicero? Is that on route 31.. anyway, it's the exit just south of Brewerton off 81, turn left at the light, and it's on the right). I forgot the name, but it should be easy to find in a phonebook. They have really nice grounds, a building in case it rains, and host weddings pretty often. I hope that helps.

The light when you first get off 81. So you're heading toward CNS high school instead of.. um.. the other way. Except come to think of it, I'm not sure if it was actually on 31.. I'll see if I can find it. Aha! Found it.

Hey This might be a little late, but if you are looking for a place close to home check out the WMFD--they have the gorgeous banquet room, also greenview golf course. Gorgeous!! I'm in the same boat. I couldn't even have my wedding on a saturday for the sheer fact that im trying to plan this all in less than 6 months. Good luck. Also with the invitations I found that most printing places are charging up the ASS for them (300 dollars plus for 100 invites) so I went t walmart yesterday and priced up envelopes and card stock and i can make 100 invites with response cards and the such with envelopes for both for less htan 25 bucks. So its all worth it. The most expensive thing you might have to buy for the invites is printer ink. But oh well. If you have any more questions just ask. I love to talk about wedding stuff. Congrats honey!!
