Great story! I love early season John stories to remind me that he was flawed, but still loved his boys and did the best he could.

Aww, thank you so much! And yes, he was, he was flawed and made a lot of mistakes, I'll never deny that. But he was also human, and, as you've said, he did the best he could! :)

Anyway, thank you! John loves Sam, never a doubt about that, and I think the worst thing for him is to see his son suffer and not being able to do a thing about it, must be hell for any parent. And on top of that it is the very thing that killed Mary that his hurting his kid, can't imagine what that would do to him.
