I... uhm... not... well... really... I wasn't trying to kill you. Really, I wasn't. It just... kinda happened... But I promise to work on the next chapter soon, how does that sound? :D If I get the boys to behave that is... ;)
Exciting to see some more of this. I love wolf!Sam and John worried and the almost fight. Especially since the beginning was so easy and warm and feel good.
This sentence kind of cracked me up. "And don’t keep changing back all the time, you hear me?” A little levity in a serious situation.
Thank you SO much! I loved writing the beginning, I absolutely enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere there, how they could sit together and not get at each other's throats, I love the idea that, through the curse, Sam would feel that John actually feels comfortable and I really think he'd like that, no matter how pissed he might be at his old man. It's so rare to see him like this.
I'm happy you're enjoying it, really, means a lot to me! :)
Ehrm... *eyes you* So... I really don't want my readers to bash their heads into the screen, that's not exactly why I'm writing... ;) Hehe, no, seriously, I had to put a cliffhanger there because... *tries to come up with anything that doesn't involve 'shock you' but fails*... well, just because! :D I don't think I would have posted already if I had not stopped there, I'm on this weird on-and-off writer's block with that fic situation so... I was happy to be able to post at least something.... I'm SO glad you're enjoying it!!!
Maybe I should put a do-not-bash-head-into-screen-warning out for that story.... *wanders off*
Well, I kind of had to... Really, I wanted to POST already and the boys were being really big pain in the behinds all the time so I just took what I had and posted it! SO glad you like it!! :)
I just read this from the beginning and am really enjoying it so far. I love the dynamic between John and Sam and the tight line they are walking between love and respect and the father-son vs the hunting-partner relationship. Like I said I am loving this so far and always love your portrayal of John anyway. Looking forward to more :)
To be honest, this relationship has me frustrated most of the time, whenever I think they might finally figure out a way how to get along they totally blow it and leave me hanging. It's interesting... and a little frustrating... ;)
And you have no idea how much it means to me that people enjoy reading John like this, I'll never understand why so many authors write him as a less than human being most of the time.
