This entire set is me taking photos of the sunrise on the roof of my work building, which is 8 stories high.
This first pic is looking out over the highway before the sun has risen. It was REALLY a pretty sight, but
unfortunately the pics don't capture all of that. :(
Another shot of the highway from above.
I'm REALLY sorry these didn't turn out so well. But this shot would have looked so COOL...
the moon was still up.
The highway again, but this shot is in the other direction (facing West, so the dawn glow is not visible.)
This is a shot of a bunch of Town homes down below, all lit up in the early morning.
I really liked how this building was shining in the sunlight...
:)
Now it's a bit later, and so there's more light to these. The sun has not yet risen. :)
This flock of birds would be so cool to photograph.. Funny thing was that there was
this helicopter that I kept seeing overhead, and for some reason I thought it was
looking for me, so I hid for a while.
The work day is beginning for millions in the northern Virginia area! Route 50
is busy as usual.
Here are all those townhouses, except in a little more light now!
I really like this one - it turned out very well and it's very calming.
This is the Fair Oaks Mall right across the street from work. You can see Sears and
Macy's along with a rather empty parking lot.
The sunrise.
Sunrise 2.
Sunrise 3.
Smoke began billowing from my building. (The mountain of doom.)
Some more houses and the AMS building in the distance.
HOpefully next time they'll turn out better (and not so dark!)
