I managed to read quite a lot today and finished The Subtle Knife, the second book in Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, which was very interesting and Im going to have to hold myself back from being utterly compelled by the third book, to the point where I do nothing else but read it.

GAH! You suck. I started The Subtle Knife way before you, but I still haven't finished it! I have a valid excuse though, what with the play and all. Still, I can't have you beating me. Must finish book tonight. How sad is it when a certain Texan aeronaut dies, though! Jopari too. I don't like this pattern of semi-main characters dying at the end of each book.

Also, from now on I'm calling you Joyce. The length of your sentences sometimes amazes me! :p :D
