Yesterday was payday. It was also a fairly busy day at work. I tried to revise a CIS for Zesh during the slow periods in the afternoon, but there really were no slow periods, so I stayed a few minutes after work to finish it up. Today's word is cornyism.
Actually I think the poster I was reading typed "cornyinsm" in a failed attempt at "cronyism", but I vastly prefer "cornyism". Which means... uh... being partial to longstanding... bad jokes. I guess.
Probably a word that fits Bottles the bartender on the Quantum Lady. -

The World Conspires Against Me
Saturday more than a week ago I bought a used Proform treadmill. It was only $70.00. The guy said the control panel didn't work, but maybe if I put new batteries in it would. I listened to an episode of PRI's To The Best of Our Knowledge yesterday that included interviews with members of Devo and talk about their recent release (Something For Everybody, which actually came out May 2010).
