Kat... Girl... You're amazing. I feel like I should confess that I just cried reading this. A little because I'm sad to see you go, but mostly because it has been so cool to watch you grow up over the past couple years. Wow I sound super creepy saying that! Not at all meant to be creepy! You've always been exceptionally mature for your age (in my opinion) and it has been amazing to watch your writing skills grow. You have such a fantastic VOICE in your writing! It's witty and funny but serious and potentially heartbreaking too. Your writing deals with real issues and that is such a treasure to find in fandom. I won't say this is sad (even though when I first heard the news on tumblr I wanted to bawl like a big baby) but no now it's not sad. Why? Because I look up to you as a writer. You have inspired me in more ways than one. From your rainbow hair to your switching schools because you hates regular school, to the reason why you wrote MAE in the first place, I think you're an amazing person with a life of greatness ahead of you. I think you made the right choice for yourself. If something has become boring and you can't make it appeal to yourself then why put forth the effort when the outcome won't make you as happy as it once did? You've taught me how to think outside the box, you've taught me how to express my thoughts in writing, you've taught me to frankly not give a shit about people. I discovered you with MAE and since then, I'm literally jumping on my chair every time I see that you posted something new ^^
I can read your stories again and again without it getting old, I seriously think you have a talent for writing !
Of course I'm sad that you're not going to write anymore but I'm also really thankful, because your work allowed me to break away from reality and to just enjoy your words.
