I'm sorry, sweetie. It seems like your dad really doesn't understand how important this is to you---but I do think he just wants the best for you and is worried about you doing this without any sort of Plan B. Maybe you just need to talk to him face to face??

Get over yourself. Your dad is not trying to guilt trip you. It sounds like your grandfather left money for your dad to hand out to you. Parents like to keep a leash on these things. If you spend all the money now, what are you going to do in the future? If you are on my friends list than thank you for the opinion. If your view of me is that I spend all my money on drugs and clothing than you obviosly don't know me well enough for me to consider your comment on my life valid. If you are one of my close friends who simply don't want me to direct my anger at your rudely put comment, I hope that you would respect more out of me and respect me enough to give you a direct answer.
Also," Get over yourself" is the worst way to ever begin a conversation. We aren't twelve year olds, and if you ever expect people to listen to what you think, you had better start being more polite.
I post these entries to get feed back, and to vent. All comments, no matter how much I dissagree with them, still mean something, so thank you anyway's.
