It was pretty anticlimactic. Calm, reasonable, only a few surprises, totally manageable workload. Granted, it was only day 1, and granted all my volunteers were there, but still, I can handle much more than this. Definitely not complaining. :)

Just so you know, I'm now in a long-distance relationship. With Josie's brother Jared. He's pretty awesome.

I am now the proud owner of a vacuum cleaner that picks up cat hair. As a result, I now vacuum on a regular basis... and so far, I enjoy it.

I took today off, and it was awesome. There was some cooking and internet addiction and reading and relaxing.

There have been lots of people around lately and it's been good times. Most recently, Amy and I went up to Grand Marais for a few days, and we got back yesterday. It was pretty awesome and we might have taken a few pictures. When we got back we showered and headed right out again to dinner with Josie's family, and that was extremely fun as well ( Read more... )
