It's been well over a year since I've posted anything on Livejournal, and except for a few communities on here I really don't visit it any more. I find myself needing a place where most of the people in my daily life don't have access to so that I can write about things a bit more freely.. like my annoying flat mate.... but anyway I don't have any

If you ever want to escape to a family atmosphere I have friends in the UK, might have to put up with a bunch of beagles though, lol.

LOL, I can always put up with beagles! Luckily for me a girl on my course invited me to her home for christmas and New Years. She has two dogs, one is her assistant (she's a wheelchair user) and the other is a pet, so I've gotten lots of puppy love while I've been here (don't tell the cats!). Although since I got to know her assistant dog while she was off duty, it has become hard for both of us (me and the dog) to wait for the command to say hello to each other in public, and her owner milks it for all it's worth :)
