Pillow couch needs a good home

We're rearranging our living room to bring G's desk and chair out, so we need to find a good home for the pillow couch. Those of you who have experienced it know how comfy and fun it is. Though I hate to see it go, I just have to be reasonable about space. Given my limited time off these days, I'd love to see it in a new home by next weekend so ( Read more... )

Do you have a local Freecycle group? That's what I'd use.

I just cringe when people put upholstered furniture by the curb to give away, and then it rains on the furniture! Such a waste if it's ruined.

I agree about the curbside issue, though it's summer. We won't see rain until September/October and then it won't stop until summer next year. Usually, when I put something on the curb, it disappears within 2 days (we live on a main intersection). I'm posting it here and FB in the hopes someone will want it. I just don't have enough time off work to deal with anything like researching how to place ads on craigslist. I really wish I did.

I am so tempted. I'm just not sure where we would put it.

Well, think quickly if you want it. G's ready to toss it to the curb tonight and I've had to restrain him. We just want to settle the house again, it's been such a mess with things everywhere. I'm almost glad I'm at work, it's too chaotic to think out there.

It's love seat size. It comfortably envelopes two people with room for two tiny white wolves. I originally bought it as a cuddle couch. Just to be clear, it's a giant rectangular pillow into which one curls up/flops/jumps. There is no structure to it save the fabric that holds the stuffing. It was made by Robb of Robb's Futons.

Please let me know if you'd like it very soon. Once we made the decision to move the living room around, we started pushing things about the room and it's a bit of a disaster that we are keen to sort.

Thanks!

Awesome! I'll be home until 9:30 in the morning. If that doesn't work, then Tuesday morning I'm here until 10:30 and G is here most of the morning after that. What works for you?
