In case this has not been obvious in any previous post, while J's symptoms fit nicely into the BPD basket in a lot of ways, he has never been formally diagnosed by a clinician.  He has been diagnosed with depression.

It has been a bit of an odd weekend.  Nothing particularly bad,nothing particularly good, just a bit odd.  Think my sinusitis is playing up a bit at present which tends to make me feel a bit odd.

Random thoughts:

Younger cat is home and doing okay, yay for that.

Am over living in a small country town at present.  Missing my urban lifestyle.

Sorry for the Indiana Jones moment.  Got a call this morning when I got to the office that the boys had found the younger of our two cats very unwell from what the vet thought was a snake bite.    Inconsequential thought was: we really need to mow the lawn.

Dr Teeth is currently stable according to the last update from the vet.

Why is it that boys don't know how to look after themselves when sick?  Of the 2 of us, I am generally held to be the one most likely to catch a flu/virus/etc if it is going around but as I tend to look after myself when ill, it goes away relatively quickly. Yesterday was an odd day.  We voted first thing having embarrassed ourselves at the last state election by getting so wrapped up in having a weekend to ourselves that we forgot to vote to both our chagrin.  No chance of that this time!!  I found that wearing a Kevin07 t-shirt was an excellent way to avoid anyone giving you how to vote material.  J ( Read more... )

 All done.  Voted my little heart out - numbering my 79 individual senate candidates.

Now to go be apolitical and help some people look at issues

J & I went to the psych this morning.  Good thing is that he and J seemed to develop a rapport, he also seemed to peg J's personality type very early and that he thinks he's can help.  Bad thing - won't be able to start until February for regular sessions.

 Huge day today. Ran 3 training sessions, dealt with a number of recruitment and training matters and had to deal with the outcomes of a harassment case.

Having a large vodka now.  Boy sees the psych tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
