Is this the real life?

APPARENTLY, I'M MOVING TO LONDON IN SEPTEMBER TO JOIN AN MA COURSE :D

Here's how it went down: Two weeks ago, I send in my application, just in time for the deadline. One week ago, I get an email from the head Professor (a woman, too! I've never learned under a woman before! How exciting!), all "Sup, Jools. So we're interviewing all our candidates and are aware that you are in Germany. So, rather than you spending time and money on coming over, why don't I call you?"
That call happened yesterday. At the end of which, the Professor said "Should I tell you what's going to happen next?" and I said "Yes, please do." thinking I was only being polite as clearly I KNEW they would take the usual hooplah of several weeks for sorting out their candidates and probably only called me to knock that pesky foreigner off her list. And she said "I'm going to forward all your documents to the Admissions office. It says in my notes that you're slotted for the IELTS test in June, so we'd need that - I really don't think this should pose any problem to you judging from our talk and all, then the conditional offer becomes an unconditional one. We were really happy about your application, and all the warm feelings we've had have only been confirmed during this talk. Does that make you happy?"

And I'm all

And now I keep going over the conversation in my head because I'm afraid I DID misunderstand her, but there really isn't anything to misunderstand about "conditional offer" and "if the Admissions office isn't in touch with you within the next few weeks, send me a note". And Me(all choked up and obviously stoked):"If you feel a subtle shift in the atmosphere about 15 minutes from now, that is me flailing in my Mum's shop over here in Germany" and HER: *lol*. And finally me: "I SO look forward to meeting you in person in September!" HER:"Me, too!"

So, this is happening, right?

I am finally, finally going back home (she said, sitting in her flat in the city where she grew up and all her family lives. Funny how these things go.)

I will take the bus on lazy saturdays, get a membership card at Prince Charles Cinema, practically move into the Forbidden Planet. I will eat cupcakes from Kooky Bakes at Sunday Up Market, ride Boris Bikes through Victoria Park and occasional get some new clothes at Laden Showroom.
I am also scared shitless. But in the good way. I think.

So, if you wanna be one of my bffs once I relocate (I neeeeds me some friends in town), this is where we could start that magical Journey. I'm sure all of you are amazing, and some of you MUST live in the general area, amirite amirite?
