Been there, done that. And yes, it was worth it. However, it wasn't for cosmetic reasons that I had my breast reduction, even though it was a great side effect. LOL I'm 38 and perky again! Though it curved the back problems I had right after the surgery (give or take five years ago) I'm starting to find that daily pains and aches in my back are returning. At least I had a few years pain free!

i find that plastic surgery is rarely worth it. obviously, there's the huge disaster potential. and it's a shortcut, or a go-around. you're scooting the dust under the rug rather than clean it up. wouldn't it be so much better to put the work and effort into loving yourself as you are? it's more permanent and can never go wrong.

unfortunately... i'm being hypocritical. i still stare in the mirror and wonder if i should get a nose job.

Agree with you wholeheartedly! Good make-up and proper clothes are much better. The point is, I'm frightened of any surgery. Never been there and i'm quite happy about it.

My experiences with surgery have been painful, but definitely positive, because they've all been for medical reasons. it's still a scary experience to face, but i think the worst part is waking up with the oxygen tube still down your throat..

Getting plastic surgery is much like touching up a photograph. If you're going to do it, you ought to do the absolute minimum to remove the flaws. Otherwise, you end up looking like Cher.

Also, men tend to minimize their faults whereas women tend to focus on them.

One plastic surgeon in his interview acknowledged that vast majority of those who got plastic surgery would come again, including those people who were not satisfied with the results. Sad to say, but some people never woke up after the surgery. Such stories kill me most. I'm not ready to die for beauty.
