I'm to equal parts amused and annoyed when I stumble over fics that full of incomprehensible words.
Even c'n'p to Leo can't help me there.

Worst about it - I can't tell if it's typos or just my vocabulary lacking. Confuses me and is bad for my ego.

"Brasireless", seen in context, could be "brassiereless". Other suggestions?But what the hell is " ( Read more... )

Without any other context, the only thing I can possibly think of is a typo of "bothering"?

I actually had the same idea first, but do you actually use "to bother" in a sense of "let it bother you" or "to worry"?

The full line is:
Father clearly knew the direction of my thoughts as he said, "You know that it is a simple test that should not take too long. We are already sure of her diagnosis, stop pothering about it, son." He lowered his voice, "If the results come back and are unusual, I'll let you rerun it. We need to talk."

... On the other hand, this fic teaches me new, indispensable words like obstreperous. A fountain of erudition, it is.
