EEP. I wish I had known you'd been in an accident. I so would've called you and flipped out on you. But I should've been doing that anyway. But anywho.

and AGH. Your parents make me cry twin waterfalls. Can they not be persuaded or anything? If I were in your place, I think I would've stopped letting them keep me from things like that a long time ago, considering how you're 17 and practically an adult. But then again, I'm a little obnoxious when it comes to authority figures telling me what to do.

You deserve to go, and they have no reasonable explanation for stopping you, so it's at this point that I say that you should hold your ground. But I obviously don't know too much about how things go in your family, so I only have an inkling of an idea as to how that would blow over.
So, erm, yeah. There's my 2 cents.
