Chris Benoit was suffering from dementia, not roid rage. Now all of the stone throwers out there can bite my ass.

actually, I shouldn't be THAT surprised. Part of the reason I don't like boxing and UFC is that it kind of promotes head injuries. Wrestling not AS much but still. Like you said. It is perhaps something that needs to be in the light but, yep, they'd better not single out wrestling - fuck no.

I knew it wasn't steroids, either. I mean, the way everyone talked about him and stuff I was like "wow, mental illness - they never would have known" but I thought it was more a natural imbalance. John was holding on to the theory that it was a set up. Thank god that's not true - I would feel so horrible for thinking he did this if he didn't. (I actually had a dream about that) But that's kind of moot now.

me too :( I'm glad I still have pictures and videos - esp from the house show in Tacoma when I had front row ringside.

you never know what's going to happen - never miss a show. Glad I got to see Eddie at my first show.

I feel it's so important that Chris is still loved and respected for who he was BEFORE those murders - regardless of the reasoning behind them.
