people named Mary are usually pains in the ass. that's part of why I don't like the name. Of course it's a moot point now as everybody in GBV land except for like Lesley has decided to call me "Mary" at every opportunity because some of the guys found out I didn't like it.

Lesley and TC and a few others, thank fuck, still call me Bunny.

I don't like names in general, and I have never liked "Mary" as a name, partly because in my day it was old skewel Catholic tradition, especially among Irish families, to name a daughter "Mary" so you had about 185213 of them at my Catholic school and in my mom's family. When we visited my mom's fam there were so many Marys that they had to include our middle names or last names to differentiate us, i.e. "Mary Lou" or "Mary Fox" and I got to be "Mary Margaret" which I fucking hated fucking worse
