It's only been a week since I've updated, but it feels like longer.

Things are going pretty well for me, save for a fantastic fall yesterday. You see in the CDC class (CDC stands for Cognitive Developmental Classroom.. which is a big word for Special Ed, even if we're not allowed to call it that), we have some children who like to run.. skip ( Read more... )

SNNNOOOWWW DAAAYYYY!!!

Sadly, unlike when I was a teacher, I'm losing pay by staying home. However, I just can't care right now because I'm having a SNOOOWWW DAAAAY!!!

Plus, the lightly falling snow kind of looks like falling glitter. It's like living in a snow globe.

Also, I get to run the errands I didn't do today. Hooray snow day!

Tim is on his way to my house and is calling because he's hopelessly lost. I'm trying to cut gumballs in half for a poster I need to do for my Mary Kay lady. Of course, I slice my finger right before he calls.  I have been on the run literally all day.... Work from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and then travel to second job. Work there from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Leave immdeately to go to Amigo's to meet some friends for 59 cent Taco NIght. Then a trip to Wal-Mart for some groceries. Then home to unload, feed the cats and clean the bathrooms. That was all by 8 p.m. ( Read more... )

 So, it's been a while. Here's a run down.

I went to Kelly's wedding. We took outdoor pictures. In December. I froze. Oh, yeah. And the wedding was in downtown Lexington on the day of a UK game.. and the Christmas parade... and the Christmas tree lighting. But we survived...

The UT game was a blast. 
I'm still buried under three jobs and need some sleep, but I'll update soon!

I went to the Chris Tomlin concert tonight= AMAZING. What was most amazing was being able to watch the band rehearse and hearing him them play "Billie Jean" and "Man in the Mirror" before the show. He even moonwalked during "Billie Jean." It was so cool to be one of about 30 people in there watching the show go down.
