I just watched The Baxter and I really liked it. It's sweet and funny, but also a comedy that understands what it is and isn't. Good stuff. In a sad way I kind of relate to Michael Show's character.

I'll watch Me and You and Everyone We Know tomorrow.

i dragged my mom to it when it played here (i hate movie-ing alone.. i'm so cool) ..she's totally a chick-flick-y type of person so i think she was expecting a huge cliche been-done a->b typical ridiculous hollywood crapfest or something. i asked her what she thought and she was like "enh." and that pissed me off, because i loved it for not being a big spectacle. i couldn't explain to her why it was so great.

or maybe it's 'cos i was crushing on mike show/the baxter. but i'm pretty sure it was everything.
