Reading

I am taking suggestions as to what I should be reading this summer. I would like to stay with in the realm of fiction, though if the book is good then feel free to wander away from this. I have been out of the reading game for a while so I have not a clue where to start, so far I have read the Zombie survival guide, some old Asimov, and a crappy ( Read more... )

Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. Good stuff.

I recently finished _Everything is Illuminated_ by Jonathan Safran Foer and enjoyed it very much. I also highly recommend _The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime_ by Mark Haddon. I haven't read _Soon I Will be Invincible_ by Austin Grossman, but it's been getting a lot of hype and seems like it has some potential ( ... )

I also suggest The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, as Tom stated above. If you're up for a psychological thriller that has a Christian bent, I would suggest something by Ted Dekker. One of my friends has read Thr3e by him, and I'm planning on reading it soon. She raved about it, and we have similar tastes in fiction, so I have to assume it's pretty good.
