Depressing tankas and freshman classes

I just got back to work from the 2nd lecture. I'm done for the time being reading depressing tankas to little kids (i'm not sure when college freshman became so little/young). It went incredibly well. Everything was smooth. It finished early but not too early. I did better with the semi-extemporaneous talk about cranes. I have difficulty

I didn't know Toni was upset about yesterday! I didn't think it went badly at all. The only thing was the whole timing issue, but otherwise I actually liked it more than today's.
