I really like this. 100% you (mainly the crack part), memorable, and still a completely legitimate expression of your goals and background.

Very few edits, but shouldn't 'Oh yeah? Well watch this' be in quote marks?
Also, I like the word orneriness, but it reads very awkwardly. Maybe use stubbornness instead, or obstinacy if you want something exotic. You could change it in the next paragraph to initial 'ornery' reaction if you still want to keep the word, but in a less awkward form.
