So my boyfriend Chris has been in Fallujah for a week now and he's pretty down. Its just set in how long he's not gonna see myself and his family for and I want to send him a super nice care package to help lift his spirits. I'm already sending pics of him and I and pics from the past few weeks, but can you guys give me some more ideas to help him ( Read more... )

well i sent my boyfriend a box every month while he was in iraq and in that box was a special photo. I dressed up like a 1950s pin up girl and send him those pics. Of course they were all pg 13 rated and nothing was sticking out but that sure helped him get through his time away from me. ^_^

my bf left right before thanksgiving and christmas, so i got his family in on making him a DVD of the family. on thanksgiving i came over to his dad's house and taped most of his family - we weren't doing anything, just hanging out and talking and stuff, but we were all talking as if andy we there, talking to the camera as if it were andy, and he was just thrilled when he got it for christmas. seriously. totally stoked!! something like that would be nice too.

i would love to do that but his entire family is in new jersey! but i'll have to tell his mom about that, i think he'd love that too. really good idea, i like it!

i said to someone earlier, i could probably take a bunch of pictures like an a day in my life (the lj community) type thing, so he could feel like he's following me around in my day? that's kinda like the video thing haha. thanks!

omg you HAVE to take lots of pictures of the most random things (with you in them of course) and send them to him!! they LOVE LOVE LOVE mundane stuff. i spent xmas eve with his family and i took hundreds of pictures and made this photo-album/scrapbook thing for him, most were candid shots, and he was so thrilled to get it. he said "omg there are soooooooooo many pictures. thank you so much." i love taking pictures. i seriously have to stop myself sometimes! LOL but do that anyway. he'll love it.
