My boyfriend had only been calling on Sundays from basic. I forgot my cell phone for the first time since he's been gone this afternoon for all of an hour. Guess what I found when I came back home? 2 missed calls from him and a voice mail telling me how he was disappointed we couldn't talk. you should look on the bright side that you at least get calls! =D
what branch is your BF in?
I ask because my husband is in the Marines and i've gotten no phone calls and just about 1 letter a week for the past 3 months.

He's in the Army doing BCT at Fort Sill. I know I should be grateful for the calls I do get and letters once every 10 days or so, but he sounded so sad in the voice mail that it broke my heart.

yea, you should be happy that you even get calls. I got 3 calls over 3 months...and I was luckier than other people who got at most 1.

i wont have gotten any in 3 months. i wish i could say i get a call a week.

that's happened to me a few times, and i get phone calls everyday. my bf is in iraq tho, and having a hard time being there so i cried like a baby when i heard his voicemail too. cuz if talking to me is something that makes him happier, it made me so sad i missed his call. all because my phone was tucked in the couch cushion once, and another time because i left it in the other room even though i knew he'd be calling soon. oh well, hang in there! i hope you get your normal call on sunday. =]

This has happened to me at least 3 times. I cried my eyes out listening to each voice mail that he had left me every time that I had missed a call. If you don't hear from him on Sunday (that's what has happened to me a couple of times)just keep your hopes up. He'll call whenever he gets the chance. He wants to talk to you just as bad as you want to hear from him.
