Good luck on your report! To support your marine/soldier so on during a deployment is probably one of the hardest things you can possibly do, it means that no matter how terrible you are feeling, how much your world might be falling apart that when you get that 5-20 minute phone call you are the strongest woman in the world. To be the wife/girlfriend of a warrior is by far the hardest job in the military, remember they were trained for this, we are not.

That hardest part of being with a marine is that I VERY rarely get to speak to him, I maybe have one phone call a week from Afghanistan and very rarely know whether or not the love of my life is even alive, it's much different than a civilian relationship, and by far the worse part is seeing girls with civilian boyfriends take them for granted. The best part is knowing that my man is one of the strongest men in the world doing something that very few other men out there are capable of doing. I would gladly support him through that anyday.
