Kewl picture. ALthough the proximity to a sun of that age makes me wonder if the planet isnt being bonmarded with massive doses of hard radiation. Nice view, but you might have to wear lead underpants to enjoy it.

Not only that but apparently the tidal force on the planet is estimated to be 400 times stronger than on ours. In which case it may not rotate on an axis at all. In that case any possible habitable zone would limited to the "twilight zone" between the sunward and dark sides. In my mind this makes life a remote possibility - but I still like remote possibilites. The whole space exploration thing is rather exciting.

I assume you guys are still having fun with your own observations? any more pics?

We took picks last night of the full moon. We also attempted to take pics of Saturn and Jupiter and its moons. We need to refine our technique for planetary photography. The view was awesome!
