1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
I signed my first lease, branched out and did something no one else I knew was doing, moved to Houston, turned 18, graduated high school
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I've never made a new years resolution. I'll make my first resolution now: School comes first and go to church on Sundays
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No
5. What countries did you visit?
America and Disney World
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Priorities, closer relationships with my Delta Gamma sisters, better communication with my friends in Austin, a church home in Houston
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
A week will be etched on my memory. September 21st through the 28th. Evactuation from Hurricane Rita, ACL and other events.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Branching out and being my own person.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I don't like to talk about it
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Maybe a cold or something. Allergies too.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I never think about things after I buy them. Probably some heels.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Jeffrey's, for finally growing up. Brittany's, for never, ever judging me, even through my mistakes.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I won't use names. An old, old best friend who decided not to speak to me anymore and a current best friend of mine, but we're cool now.
14. Where did most of your money go?
The University of Houston and Delta Gamma
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Spring break with Carolanne, graduation and Christmas

The entire X&Y album by Coldplay, After an Afternoon by Jason Mraz and Sugar We're Going Down by Fallout Boy

i. happier or sadder? Happier, I think
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter, but we're working on it

Studying, going to church

Being not a good friend/person

I spent Christmas with my family, like normal. We ate Christmas dinner in our pajamas on the couch and watched 4 movies

Not in love

I've never had a one-night stand

The Contender, The Real World Austin. I don't watch too much tv usually, just movies

Not really, no. I don't think I hate anyone.

The Da Vinci Code, The Red Tent
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Aqueduct and Michael Buble
28. What did you want and get?
I wanted a ring and I got it for Christmas. I also wanted friends in Houston and now I have a lot of those.
29. What did you want and not get?
Better grades, zero drama
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Wedding Crashers, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
On my birthday I got breakfast tacos and hung out in Terry's office. I went to Andy's house with my painted car and then Buca di Beppos with my family where my father and I split a bottle of wine. I turned 18.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
No drama...yeah right
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
At the beginning of the year I leaned more toward different and comfortable, but cute. In the middle it was all comfort, zero style. Towards the end of the year I was all about class.

My mom and crying
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Rachel McAdams
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Democrats.
37. Who did you miss?
My nana, the old Rachel, others who don't need to be mentioned
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Christopher Leger, Brittany Shradar, Laura Bobrick, and while I technically didn't meet her in 2005, Jamie Shanahan and I became very close.

Life is much more fleeting than we think.
