so i've discovered that unless for some reason the place or people are really awesome, working with food is definitely not for me. I'm making like 220 a week right now though so i can't walk away from this bakery/deli until i find employment elsewhere.

cherry festival once again, is what it is. a big fuss over not really a whole lot.

food isn't for me either. i'm horrible at working in a kitchen. i've lost both my restaurant jobs now. :(

did they expect you to automatically know how to do everything at light speed too?

working for a small local business is something i enjoy but i feel like at least at my big corporate chain jobs in the past, they've have some sort of training system. A lot of times it's overkill but it's better than having people pissed off at you for not knowing how stuff is donel.

yeah that's exactly the problem i had. i feel like such a failure, but honestly Frankie's (small local restaurant) just cut me after two weeks and it was bullshit. Denny's just recently decided to get rid of me too, they gave me a little more of a chance but the expectations of most people (especially people i worked with in the kitchen) were just too high. they wanted me to DO shit before they'd actually taught me how to do it.

now i'm chillin out here in the real world, all unemployed and what not. what a bitch.
