Tingle Jingle

Man, I have been uber-tingly lately, like all over. I'm pretty sure it is something to do with my lousy diet, but so far I can't pinpoint it. Yeah, I should probably get it checked out if it persists, but thus far I'm not alarmed by it. Just tingled by it ( Read more... )

Yikes. My brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor after a long, lengthy battle with his thyroid. (It turned out to be benign and he's fine now ( ... )

Wow, I didn't know that about your brother. Glad he's okay now! Tumor cozy is hilarious, btw. Love it.

We gotta take the Doc back to the vet in a week or so to get his numbers looked at again to see how the IV + meds are working. Hopefully there will be a marked improvement. He feels like he may have gained back some of the weight, so hopefully that is a good sign.

He's such a good little kitty, I kind of want to keep him around forever.

Wow sorry to hear this. I don't think I could give a cat an IV. I hope I never have to find out. I hope you can work out your Florida trip.

Thanks. It really almost requires two people to do. There's things that have to be rolled on the line while the needle is in and most cats are squirmy about it, so it would be really hard to hold the needle in, roll the thing so the fluid starts dripping and keep the cat steady.

Hopefully you won't ever know these things! That's the hardest part of pets is that eventually, they will get old and/or sick and require treatment. And decisions. I hate having to make DECISIONS. I think I'm good at 99% of cat havin', but lousy at the 1%.

I am so so so sorry about your kitty - I completely sympathize. Is there any chance of him having a full recovery or is this somehting you have to do permanently?

I'm so sorry :(

Most likely we will have to do it on the regular. We are going to take him back once we finish the first IV bag to have his numbers looked at again. They will be able to tell then if there's any improvement, so we'll see then.

Thanks for thinking of us all.
