I am about one year behind you I think. I turn 39 in August, and I have already started fretting. In fact, I think I may be in full-on midlife crisis mode. I suddenly don't know who I am or where I'm going. Suddenly, with the exception of my children, my life seems like a massive waste of time. What the hell am I doing? Where to go from here?
I think the only reason I am not dissolving into tears at songs on the radio is because of the medication I take. But otherwise I am certain I would be.
I don't have any advice for you other than to say, I feel ya sister, and you're not alone.
Also, I don't KNOW this for sure, but I think 40 is okay. At least, I know that when I am 60 I will look back and wish for those twenty years back (just like I look back at 20 and wish I still had THOSE years again), so I guess I better live large while I'm here. xo
