The color of irony

Maroon is one of my favorite colors to wear. A nice, dark redish-purple looks good on me (at least I think so). Poking my nose in my closet reveals two maroon tank tops, two button-down shirts, one sweater, a pair of pants, and two pairs of underwear

If you have enough elderberries, you could dye the rest of the shirt, and then you would have an additional shirt in your favorite color.

Dude! Why didn't I think of that? I might have to try that. I made all my elderberries into jam, but there are lots more where they came from!

Or you could do elderberry tie-dye. Or maybe sprinkle the berries over the shirt and roll over them with a rolling pin. Polka dots! Smashed elderberry potato block printing?

Or you could just always wear that shirt to make jams, and it could become wearable history, like a quilt :)
