Why are you whining? What would you have done if you had gotten home early anyways? It makes no difference when you think about it...

In example, me and Jeff went to the comic book store after school, and I ended up on the train the same time I always do. So in the end, fate would have intervened and you too probably would have gotten home at the same time anyways, be it your brother losing his jacket, or someone being run over by a train on your way home... Perhaps getting home early would have disrupted the evenflow anyways. You wouldn't want to be responsible for an imbalance in the space/time continual would you? WOULD YOU?!

Didn't think so... That's my friends job after all, and my job is to put things back in balance... Its up to you do decide your fate though my dear.
