So I did an assload of baking today. This was a practice run for some baking that I'll be doing next month, when Snapdragons and I and some other folk go on a picnic before seeing a play. I could bring you a mini pie in two weeks; Mom stuck some in the freezer. And I'm sure there will be more pie in August.

It really is ok; I don't expect you to not work, and I think the problems of the Palestinians and your in-laws are a bit beyond your control, aren't they? :)

You should know I am insanely jealous, not only of the pie, but of the tree. We had a tree just like that when I was a kid. (It stood right next to our house; our neighbor claimed it was encroaching onto his property line, and one summer when we were on vacation, chopped it down, dug up the stump, and then *lied* to us about it, all "What tree?" Not kidding. I miss that tree.)
