It was a talent grown out of fascination and teen rebellion. One only shared with those he loved and trusted.

He had been honoured to do so after Starbuck tied the knot; smiled every time he saw his gift shared between her and Anders.

But his greatest work had been seen by him alone. His father had never let him get inked in the ways of his people but Bill Adama reveled in every stolen moment he spent tracing the work of his needle on Laura’s creamy skin.

A ring was the symbol of Caprica. Tuarons marked their love forever.

Aw, it's sweet to think that Adama made Starbuck and Anders' tattoo. What an interesting bond that would be between Adama and Roslin.

Thank you! I liked the idea of Adama doing their tats - we never got to see the story behind them in cannon so I figure I can write my own version!

And Adama doing ink on Laura is probably some serious a/u but cultural traditions can be very influential!

Oh, this is an interesting hobby for Adama. Not simply because of who you decided to ink, but also because of how it represents the tension between Adama and his father, Joesph. It's so interesting how Joesph and Bill's tense relationship is echoed in Bill and Lee's issues.

Oh interesting how many different meanings the last line has. I can see Felix doing crosswords and Sweet!Eight snooping through his office.

This is brilliant. There are so many interesting aspects to it. That Eight has been looking at things in his office, and Gaeta doesn't get suspicious, yet she's not trying to hide it - hiding in plain sight indeed.

Oops! I somehow missed commenting on this! Not because it wasn't great. :) I loved the line about the clues being hiding in plain slight. Also, the idea of Gaeta having a stash of crossword puzzles is awesome, but I liked how it was actually barely in the background of this drabble, the least important thing going on.

My very first drabble :)

***

157 meters... He climbed onto the barrier. Blood pounded heavy in his head.
Sympathetic nervous system reacts, first effects of adrenaline...

An instant flood of emotions followed as he jumped off - gravity converted into abdominal sensation.
Cold air battered his sweat covered skin.

3... 2...

The subsequent dull thud remained without any physical reaction.

Gasping with the drowning feeling caused by the viscous mass in his lungs, he awoke within a body-warm ambiance.

„I might repeat myself, however, I think your interest in suicide methods is extremely sick.“

He left the tub and gave Cavil a shrug,

„Each to his own.“

This is amusing in a totally creepy way.

You know, it faintly reminds me of a story on the same theme that I read a long time ago... in a porn battle. :D I think I prefer your non-sexy version. I mean, there are lines.
