I hate when stupid bands add me to myspace

So I noticed that this random acoustic artist's album was called "the media is the message".. so of course, instead of accepting his add, I sent him a message.

I am, but it's a spin on his original quote. He originally intended to claim that the medium that you use, (i.e. television, newspaper, radio) WAS the message, as if the way you choose to convey your message affects the end result, however my album name is a spin on it.
With the MEDIA is the message, the term media is used in the modern day sense of "mass media", as my view is that people believe everything they hear/read, there for they ARE the message.

hope that makes sense.

but I think Marshall Mcluen's theory WAS a spin on words in the first place... so you're kind of backtracking.. and yes, I understand what you're saying.. I was just hoping what you were trying to say was a little deeper than that..

He hasn't replied...=/
