I have never heard of this "Metal" Rock. I have heard a lot of noise and high pitched squealing coming from Varon's room, but nothing more. I have never heard of these bands that you are talking about, but the names do sound intriguing, especially this Tarot, and this Nightwish. Hmmm.

They are many differant variants in the Metal music genre. Nightwish is 'Symphonic Metal', a style which combines the usual Metal instruments (guitar, keyboard, bass, drums) but ands an orchestra behind it. But, Nightwish, took this one step farther when their pianst, Tuoimas, started making his music sound more along the lines of something you'd hear in a movie soundtrack. Awesome stuff. (Too bad they fired their singer, though. Oh well, it's her fault. And the new singers cool anyways)

Tarot is 'Heavy Metal'. It's pretty much the norm in metal music. Thier main singer is Marco Hietala, who plays bass. Marco is also the back-up singer in Nightwish.

Thiers also Thrash Metal, Progressive Metal, Black Metal, Gothic Metal, Industrial Metal- *notices Dartz is starting to fall asleep* HEY, C'MON! THIS IS INTERESTING! STAY AWAKE!!!

I have heard of these bands, and Nightwish is very interesting. I happen to like the symphonic metal personally. It's very fluid to me. *smiles* Now these other bands I'm not too familiar with, but I do like to try new things. Perhaps when I go home, I'll have to check out what Yakou has.
