MS Paint, ftw! I remember using a paint program on the Mac Classic (like this one), but I don't remember what it was called. But it had fun "brushes" ... like a spray can... and the best one of all was this one that grew trees. I mean, it made little trees on the page. It was cool. One of the reasons I bought this Mac last year was the software package: it came with a bunch of hardcore programs, like every Adobe program known to humankind (currently), and iLife (before Pages became crummy), MS Office... and programs I've never used but are supposed to be awesome, like Reason, and Garage Band. I have enough stuff on this computer to write a whole musical album, but I don't do it... *snort* I'm sure your new icons will rock

The thing is...my muse is a night owl. It's peak is when I'm tired or tipsy - neither condition is good to be in constantly throughout the week, and can really only focus between the hours of 9pm-12am. Like seriously - that post last night - I started at 9pm and wasn't finished editing and cutting rambling out until midnight. Now, it's the weekend so whatever, but since I have to get up at 5:30am every morning during the week, that is a problem. If I'm not in bed by 10:30, I struggle at work the next morning. I think my writing in college happened because it was a social norm to be up in the middle of the night and exhausted all of the time lol

Time management is such an important Adult Skill. I still fail at it. Being a SAHM isn't all sitting around and eating bon-bons, oh no! First off, I don't even know what the hell a bon-bon is! Second, there is only a tiny, precious sliver of time in between that moment when they finally stop talking and go to sleep, and that moment when I fall face first into my bed without bothering to take my pants off.
But I'm always writing. I never stop. I just... also never finish anything...
I know what you mean. My mom was a stay at home mom with us and she was ALWAYS doing something. I never understood why she didn't sit through a whole movie with us...not until much later. It was because that was when she could accomplish stuff uninterrupted by us for 1.5 hours! Lol
B!tch plz. My writing folder consists of a "posted folder" and then folders containing chapters of unfinished stories and stray incomplete one shots. There was a time when my completed stories outnumbered the incompletes....that is no longer the case.
Twenty-nine! I totally just creeped on your FFN profile... though, if you think about it, 101 Ways is made up of similarly themed one-shots, so could all be counted as separate stories.
My WiP folder is out of control, too. Some of them have been sitting there for so long, I forgot where I was going with them. *cough*TilKingdomCome*cough*
