I use Gadwin Printscreen to take my pictures, and have it automatically resize them for me. Then I sharpen/contrast/saturate 5-20 notches in Gimp.

Auto-resize? That would save soo much time! And I've used Gimp for awhile too, it's pretty awesome. Thanks for the reply!

The quality of these images looks really good, but the formatting seems to have compressed everything on the horizontal axis, making everything seem squished. I have a hard time looking at them. Is there any way to resize any still retain the same proportions?

From what I can see, though, Chloe and Lola look great!

Also, to answer your question, I use Irfanview to take screencaps and then crop and resize by hand to fit into a 450 by 600 frame. Some might argue that it's tedious, but It gives me a chance to crop out the action cue and other details without having to worry about them while shooting the scene (plus my monitor is widescreen). I usually don't do any image editing unless an image is dark or I think it needs it for some reason.
