After talking with Barbara, Will finally manages to sleep in the infirmary, not as long or as deep as he needs, but sleep. When he wakes up he thinks about who he is and what waits on the other side of the door and when he gets dressed, he buckles on his sword belt, feeling the comfortable weight by his side, then walks into Bar.
The limp is almost gone as are the bruises, Will looks better as he sits on a stool at Bar not sure what to ask for, she gives him a bowl of porridge and tea and a new and clean linen shirt that makes him blink and laugh, dropping a gold coin onto her surface. He's eating and thinking, preparing to go outside and make sure that when his door appears, he will not fall.
