It's getting down to crunch time in a lot of ways, and there's a ship in the garage that needs a lot more work if she's going to be able to leave with Simon -- if she doesn't want anything around that anyone can use to say she didn't do her job right.
Still: she's put in a good six hours on that ship today, on top of the one she's actually supposed to be working on, and having eaten well enough to satisfy Simon (should he ask), Kaylee's got three projects in front of her (four, if you count the cup of tea):
One: a catalog from a gadgetry warehouse, open to the section featuring personal datapads.
Two: a much older datapad and accompanying box of cards; New Year's is coming, and Kaylee knows what she's pulling together for the crew.
Three: two hard-copy books, the titles of which seem to be Finance and Investment for Beginners, and So You Want To Own A Business.
A brief break for projects, and then it's back to work on the ship. If she wants time for house-hunting on Praxed, she needs to get as much done as she can in the next couple of days.
