Arashi and Eshiritori

Nov 21, 2016 21:26

My favourite part in Arashi ni Shiyagare 20161119 is when Arashi play eshiritori (絵しりとり) with Kyari Pamyu Pamyu. It's like shiritori but instead of saying the word, they draw it.

I don't know what Sho said, but I guess he said that 5 people who like eshiritori gathered and become Arashi. Maybe.

The rule is: if they fill 15 squares within 5 minutes, they succeed. I don't get the next rule. But, I guess the MC said even the next person didn't get what the person before him/her draw, if he/she draw and the drawing is "connected" (as shiritori), then it's OK.

Player order: Kyari -> Ohno Satoshi -> Ninomiya Kazunari -> Aiba Masaki -> Matsumoto Jun -> Sakurai Sho. First word (Kyari's turn) should be started with A. The game was going smoothly until Sho's turn.

What is that? A cat?
Nino and Jun: I know that.
What do you know, guys??? Then Sho erase his drawing.

Nino's reaction after Sho erase his drawing ... facepalm? Why?

Sho tried to draw again. A block?

I don't know what Kyari thought about what Sho drew. She drew a bed, maybe. And Jun said: What is that??? Then she erased it.

Then Sho added something in his drawing. A person. MC: Why do you add your drawing? Jun: I know it, I know it.

He added again. He wrote something like 25 m. What a sly boy. Kyari seemed understand what Sho tried to draw and she drew something, I don't know what it is.

Ohno's turn. While he was still drawing, Nino came and drew too. And he finished before Ohno. Nino! It's like you know what Ohno want to say before he finished speaking.
Next, Aiba's turn. I thought he drew musical notes.

Next, Jun's turn. He drew some squares and erased it. MC: There's no time!! Then he drew something like pipe. I don't know what it is, but Sho know it. Of course. He drew something like house with chimney. Kyari's turn. She drew something that Ohno couldn't understand.

Can you see his facial expression seeing Kyari's drawing? And can you see the way Nino looked at him? It's like "notice me senpai" expression.
Only ten second remained. MC told Ohno to "just draw ANYTHING". And he did it. He just drew a weird circle with three vertical lines on it. Last person, Nino, he got no time to hink so he just drew question mark.

Then, they discuss it one by one.
Kyari: アイス (aisu, ice)
Ohno: スイカ (suika, watermelon)
Nino: 蚊 (ka, mosquito)

This is what Nino drew. Mosquito. I wonder how Aiba know that it's mosquito (ka) and continued the game by drawing crow (カラス, 烏, karasu).
Jun: スープ (su-pu, soup)
Sho: プール (pu-ru, pool)
That's what he drew, A POOL! And the cat he drew before (sorry Sho, I thought it's a cat), he meant to draw Pooh (プーさん, pu-san). And his friends knew it. I'm amazed by their chemistry.
Kyari: ルビー (rubi-, ruby)
Ohno: ビンゴ (bingo, bingo)
Nino: ゴマ (胡麻, goma, sesame seed)

Aiba: Eeeeeeh?!
Nino: Eeeeeeh?!
Aiba thought Nino draw Go (碁, Chinese chess). Maybe because in his first turn Nino used one syllable word so Aiba thought in second turn Nino used one syllable word too, which is go. Jun thought it was Go, too. But if they go with goma, it wouldn't be able to be connected with Aiba's picture. It turned out that Aiba draw golf stick and golf ball (not a musical note as I guessed), so the word he meant is ゴルフ/gorufu/goruhu (golf). But Aiba said, it's maruhu (so it will be connected with Nino's goma :D). I guess they said it (referring to maruhu) is like golf. Silly.

Staff said "If you go with 'go' instead of 'goma', it will be connected." Bingo -> go -> gorufu.

Nino insisted, "No, it shouldn't be like that. Because it's goma." And MC said: JUST GO WITH "GO"!

Nino: It's GO!
He knew he shouldn't be stuborn :D
Jun: ふえ (笛, fue, flute)
MC and audience: Eeeeeeh?!
Sho: I know it.
Splendid! Being together for many years make you understand what your friends drew no matter how abstract it is.

Sho: えんとつ (煙突, entotsu, chimney)
Kyari: つくえ (机, tsukue, desk)
MC: kimochi warui (dunno how to translate it in this situation)

It seemed Ohno didn't know what he himself drew, since MC told him to "just draw ANYTHING", I guess. He has to find a word starting with 'e' and ending with the first syllable of Nino's drawing. Jun gave idea that Nino's picture can be a word starting with 'ku'. So, Ohno has to fine a word starting with 'e' and ending with 'ku'.

Ohno: What is it, my image ...

Ohno: 円楽 (enraku, name of an artist)

This is his friends reaction. Sho showing his understanding (he gave "naruhodo" gesture) and Jun spontantly (and cutely) laughed.

Then Jun support Ohno by comparing Enraku's image (his short hair, etc) with Ohno's drawing. Arashi is a bunch of sly boys! And beside Jun, Sho couldn't hold his laugh. It's totally understandable, Sho!
Nino: クエスチョンマーク (kuestionma-ku, question mark).
Complete. They win the game!

This game is so interesting and amusing. And this game made me sure how Arashi's members understand each other. And how they will cover each other. No matter how big the fail one member made, other members will cover for it, whatever it takes. Or make it as golden joke material. Damn, I love you guys!
