Saw a guy buying a frozen-solid turkey today...

Bought it Saturday, put it in the fridge Sunday. Had to move stuff around to make room for it.

I really like to buy it on the saturday before Thanksgiving and put it directly into the fridge, bypassing the freezer entirely.

Since there's only the two of us to feed this Thanksgiving, I got a small precooked turkey breast for us since I'm not a huge fan of turkey unless it's fried or smoked. That way I won't be stuck with gobs of leftover turkey meat to eat by myself. (Hubby isn't keen on helping me eat leftovers even at the best of times.)
