Today is one of those days where at the end of it, you say: "Well, day.  You beat me."  I am exhausted and depressed, still vaguely hungover from last night.  After a blaze of glory and one good story, I come home to a devastating email from Kate.  I feel dumb and alone, a stupid kid sick from love who probably should have seen things coming.

It's always very strange when the Vicodin kicks in. I mean, I'm sitting here, reading the paper online, and then my head does a little swivvel (sp?) and I'm a little dizzy and the soreness in my jaw is gone.

Today, my skull; tomorrow, New Mexico!

Five hours til I depart for the airport.  This quarter was so darn hard, but it ended so darn well.  I don't usually look forward to vacations; I think this may be the first time in my life that I really need a week off.  It's possible that I've just been worked down too much.

I haven't built my scene design model, which is due tomorrow.  I'm skipping class, and hopefully will have it completed for the next class in two days.

I haven't read the play I'm supposed to read for acting class or done any of the character work I was supposed to do for that play.  Both of those things will happen tonight.
