Another Rejection

I hope everyone is well. I’m updating because I received my second rejection today-from Rutgers. Oh, well. It’s a bit of a letdown, but since finding out that Camden is a horrific city to live in (they were ranked one of the worst cities to live in, if not the worst city to live in, in the US by AOL fairly recently), I had decided  I wasn’t going ( Read more... )

You're lucky your assigned set point is relatively low for your height. I think mine is too high (I never weighed that much, even when not restricting) and try to keep my weight lower than that.

I guess my set point is a bit on the low side, but I don't think I (or anyone else with an ED, for that matter) would be happy with any set point. That's just the nature of an eating disorder, I guess. I'm always trying to get as low as possible.

I hope you're doing well.

yeah, i'd call vermont and ask if there's any way you can send in your deposit later. if you can't, i'd just send in the deposit now. i had to send in my $200 deposit to tulane by march 1, and i don't know if this means they are slow or what, but they still haven't cashed it even after sending my receipt. you can still send in a deposit without actually committing to going there. the deposit just tells them that you have enough interest to save a space for now ( ... )

Yeah, I think I'm going to call Vermont tomorrow and ask for an extension on the deposit. I guess you're right that I could always back out later, although I'd feel a little guilty and would lose 400 dollars; it's definitely an option, though. Thanks.

I'm glad you like my write-in! Oh, I love the idea of the narrator meeting someone who sort of berates her about gettign pregnant as an older woman; I think I'll definitely include that! It's only a six to ten page story, so I can't include everything I'd like, but I think that idea's definitely a keeper! Thanks. :)
