Pride?

Ugh, I’ve been up since 7:45 since I have so much work to do. This week is officially one of those Hell Weeks of lore. I did two-thirds of my reading for Contemporary Women’s Short Fiction, which is tomorrow, last night, and before I meet with my advisor at 12:45 I plan on finishing that and doing my reading for Literature of the Later Middles Ages

Being able to see your own accomplishments is a far cry from thinking you're better than everyone else, in the negative sense of the phrase. The fact is, at writing you are better than a lot of people--the fact that you were accepted speaks to that. It's okay--and dare I say normal--to be proud of that.
